Well, well, well. The National Archives recently dropped a bombshell on the Biden family narrative that’s harder to ignore than a teenager’s messy room. The newly released photos show then-Vice President Joe Biden grinning alongside two of Hunter Biden’s Chinese business partners back in December 2013. This revelation directly contradicts Biden’s repeated claims that he never had any involvement in his son’s foreign business escapades.

Now, I’m not one for jumping to conclusions, but this story raises some serious questions—and they’re not about what brand of toothpaste Joe uses to keep that famous smile gleaming.

The Photo Finish

Let’s get the facts straight: these pictures, released under the Freedom of Information Act (bless it), show Joe Biden meeting with Chinese investors, including Jonathan Li of BHR Partners, during an official trip to Beijing. That trip coincided with Hunter tagging along on Air Force Two. Shortly after, Hunter reportedly secured a 10% stake in BHR Partners.

It doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to connect the dots here. Joe Biden’s previous denials about discussing business with Hunter now look shakier than a Jenga tower on the final move.

Why It Matters

As a Christian, I firmly believe in the importance of integrity—especially in leadership. Proverbs 10:9 reminds us, “He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.” If Joe Biden truly misled the American people, it’s not just a “gotcha” moment—it’s a breach of trust that undermines the very fabric of honest governance.

The potential implications are staggering. If the sitting president has a history of mingling his public duties with family business dealings, it raises serious concerns about national security. Could decisions be influenced by personal gain? Are foreign powers exploiting these ties? The answers to these questions affect every single American.

A Tale of Two Standards

Here’s the part that really chaps my hide. Imagine if the roles were reversed and these photos showed Donald Trump or one of his kids cozying up to Chinese businessmen. You’d have 24/7 media hysteria complete with ominous music and countdown clocks to impeachment hearings. But with Biden? Crickets.

This isn’t about party loyalty—it’s about accountability. Neither Republicans nor Democrats should get a free pass when it comes to truth and transparency. We serve a higher standard as Christians, and both sides have fallen short. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” That applies to politicians, too.

Moving Forward

So, what now? First, we need a full and thorough investigation—no whitewashing, no political games, just the truth. Whether it’s a congressional inquiry or an independent investigation, the American people deserve clarity.

Second, Christians must pray for wisdom in leadership. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 urges us to pray “for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life.” This is not a call to complacency but a reminder that God can work even in the messiest situations.

Finally, let this be a lesson in discernment. Politicians will always make promises, but their actions tell the real story. As voters, we must scrutinize those actions and hold them accountable, regardless of party affiliation.

At the end of the day, Joe Biden’s China connection isn’t just about one family’s dealings. It’s about the integrity of our leadership, the transparency of our government, and the future of our country. As Christians, we should demand honesty, pray for truth, and remember that while human leaders fail, God’s kingdom endures forever.

And maybe next time someone says, “I never discussed business with my son,” we’ll all think twice before taking them at their word.
